We stayed at the Beeches after being recommended by the tourist information in Dawlish as we had not booked anywhere in that area. They could not have told us about anywhere better, although it is a 4 star we think it should be more. The welcome from Ian and Christine was very friendly and we felt very relaxed. We stayed in the deluxe roon which was the best room we have stayed in and we have been in 5 star hotels. The attention to detail was second to none and it was superbly clean, a very comfotable bed which we didn't want to get of. The breakfast was very good lots of choice and nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately we were only there for one night but I wished we could have stayed longer but we were travelling on up to Bath. The setting is also beautiful even in the rain, very quiet and relaxing. Thank you once again Ian and Sue, and we wish you every success - and will be back to stay with you agsin.

We had a very enjoyable stay at The Beeches for four nights. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were delicious and the room was lovely.
Highly recommended - we look forward to visiting again at some stage!

Have just spent an absolutely superb week at the Beeches Guest House run by some truly very friendly and genuine hosts namely Christine and Ian who went out of their way to make our special celebration of our 25th Wedding Anniversary even more memorable by all the added touches. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite which was a huge room with sumptious bed, two double wardrobes a large chest of drawers and dressing table with drawers plus bedside cabinets with yet more drawers so plenty of room for all your clothes and personal belongings which made my day. Then the ensuite not only had a big bath but a shower as well so we were certainly spoilt for choice, again both rooms so well decorated and clean yes please note very clean. The view from the window overlooking the garden and sea was fantastic. Then of course comes the best cooked breakfast we have ever had certainly worth getting up for even though as the week went on we were struggling to get out of such a comfortable bed.
Overall everything about our stay was faultless and Christine and Ian went out of their way to make us feel at home in their beautiful Guest House. We are certainly looking forward to staying there again.

We've just come back after staying for a week at The Beeches and wanted to say how much we enjoyed it. Ian & Christine are brilliant hosts, very friendly and always happy to help. We stayed in the Deluxe room which certainly lives up to its name. Its beautifully decorated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The full english breakfast is delicious and cooked to perfection but if you don't want a cooked breakfast there's always cereals, fruit, yogurt or toast to choose from, everyone is catered for! If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Dawlish we would definitely recommend The Beeches.

Very homely and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was superb!!!!!!

Only complaint we have is that the beds are too comfy=) We would recommend the Beeches to anyone planning a trip to Dawlish.

I would like to Thank you both for the Anniversary Card,
Thank you for the coffee table,(My Wife mentioned in passing she had no place for her cuppa when we both sat on the sofa,when we arrived back from our outing "Hey Presto" another table had appered for her cuppa.
We have stayed in places with more stars but they do Not come up to your High standards (you should be very proud of your B&B)
We will recomend your B & B to every body we know,

My partner and I had a really lovely stay at The Beeches earlier this week. We had the deluxe double bedroom, which is stunning! Attention to detail, very clean, modern, fresh and comfy. We felt very relaxed and could have stayed there for weeks, especially in the very comfortable bed!
Ian and Christine made our stay very pleasant, were flexible with our arrival time and served a tasty breakfast in their lovely dining room, overlooking the garden and sea.
Certainly no more Travelodges for us! We will definitely come back when we are in the area again. Thank you!

We have just returned from staying 3 nights at the Beeches. Christine and Ian made us very welcome from the minute we arrived. We enjoyed our stay very much. The accommodation was very good, very clean and the room we had very comfortable. Can fully recommend the breakfast, best ever! We would recommend the Beeches to anyone. We have just spent 2 nights at the Beeches and found it to be one of the best B&Bs we have ever visited. The attention to detail,the very high standard of accomodation we think, makes it far better than a 4 star hotel, a benchmark others might aspire to! Added to this, the genuine friendliness of Christine and Ian, and excellent food made our visit most enjoyable. We would heartily recommend a stay here for anyone who likes the better things in life!

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Beeches and can honestly say that we had the most fantastic time. From my very first phone call to Ian, right up to the moment we left we were made to feel very welcome into their gorgeous home. We were very privilege to be shown all the rooms on offer and have already made plans to return in the New Year. I could not fault any part of our stay, the breakfast was wonderful and beautifully presented, the rooms were extremely comfortable and providing everything we wanted and our host were welcoming, informative and genuinely wanted us to get the most out of our stay. The house is a set just 10 minutes walk from the town and is perfect to visit the south Devon coast.

We have just returned from our second stay with Christine and Ian. We had a fantastic weekend. Christine and Ian extended a very, very warm welcome. We had booked the de-luxe room last year and fell in love with it, so had to book the same room again this year! On entering our room, we found a card and bottle of wine congratulating us on our engagement, which we had mentioned in passing on booking. It was such a personal and very thoughtful touch.

If we decide to return to this part of Devon again we will have no hesitation in booking with Christine and Ian again.

Thank you to Ian and Christine, we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at the Beeches, with a very warm and friendly welcome extended. Our twin room was lovely, comfortable and well appointed, exactly as shown in the photo. The breakfasts were lovely and really set us up for the day.We would certainly consider coming again and recommending to friends also. Ian and Christine certainly work very hard to create the perfect place to stay with some nice touches and every aspect is to an exeptionaly high standard.All very lovely!

I would like to say this is a very cosy & private place to stay, close to the town and in a quite location. For anyone looking to stay in, near Dawlish i would recommend staying here.

We have just enjoyed our second stay at The Beeches bed & breakfast.
Christine and Ian are a really nice couple and nothing is to much trouble for them. They provide a service second to none.
The Beeches has an atmosphere that is very relaxing, which is important for any stay.
We will definately be booking with them again soon.

We had a very enjoyable short break at The Beeches. Chris & Ian have an absolutely wonderful home, warm and welcoming. The hallway and the stairs are fantastic. Our bedroom, although not en-suite - private bathroom next door, was brilliant, large and spacious and the bed was big and so comfortable. Everywhere was clean, well presented and the decor was very tasteful. Nothing was to much trouble for Chris and Ian. We hope next time, we will be able to travel down on our bikes. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at The Beeches. Christine and Ian made us feel at home immediately and nothing was too much trouble for them. Their home is beautiful as was our bedroom. Very comfortable and pleasing decor. The whole athmosphere was peaceful and we were able to unwind with ease. The attention to detail and little homely touches made for great comfort. Breakfasts were spot on (lovely soft boiled eggs and soldiers my comfort food). We will be back, and wish Christine and Ian the huge success that they deserve.
